Hawks Softball Falls In Regional Final To Texas Lutheran

After fighting their way through the loser's bracket to earn a spot in the Seguin Regional Championship, the #2 seeded Hawks of Huntingdon College were defeated 6-1 by the #1 seed and host Bulldogs of Texas Lutheran University.

Entering today's slate at the Seguin Regional with their backs against the wall, Huntingdon Softball rose to the challenge, first by eliminating the #4 seed PSU-Behrend with a 5-0 victory, then by avenging their loss in the tournament opener to Trinity, knocking off the Tigers 5-3 to advance to the regional championship.
