Hubbard, Roberts, And Stephens Named Second Team All-Region

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-  The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 386 student-athletes from 161 schools who comprise the 2026 NFCA Division III All-Region teams.

Representing Huntingdon in Region VI on the second team all-region are third baseman Maddie Grace Hubbard, pitcher Allie Roberts, and outfielder Kylie Stephens

The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region. Coaches may nominate a maximum of eight players from their squad.

Region VI's Virginia Wesleyan, which headed into this week's NCAA tournament undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the GoRout/NFCA Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll, was one of four schools to place a division-best seven players on its region list, with four on the first team, two on the second team and one on the third team.

Tufts (Region I), Trine (Region VII) and Worcester Polytechnic (Region II) were the other three with seven selections. Like the Marlins, Trine and Worcester Polytechnic had four first-teamers. Additionally, Saint Mary's (Region IX) placed all four of their All-Region selections on the first team.

Six schools — Colby (Region I), Manhattanville (Region III), Rowan and Stockton (both Region IV), and East Texas Baptist and Texas Lutheran (both Region X) — had six players chosen. Nine teams had five recipients, while 15 more scored four honorees.

Twenty-five schools had three players recognized, while 40 got two, and 62 had one. Among the winners, there are 137 seniors, 125 juniors, 76 sophomores, 46 freshmen and two graduate students.

Hubbard, a native of South Pittsburg, Tennessee and first team All-CCS selection, has now been selected as an all-region honoreee for the second time in her career. Hitting at a .430 average at the plate this season, she has totaled 52 hits with 19 RBI's, tacking on 32 stolen bases and 47 runs as the Hawks leadoff batter. All season, she has been excellent in the field, recording 44 putouts and 85 assists with a .935 fielding percentage.

The CCS Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive season, Allie Roberts of Auburn, Alabama, has demonstrated excellent command in the circle all year. Holding a 1.74 ERA, Roberts has picked up 130 strikeouts and 4 saves while securing a 14-6 record. She currently ranks 18th in NCAA Division III in strikeouts and 20th in ERA while being selected to the NFCA Pitcher to Watch List.

Junior Kylie Stephens' all-region recognition marks the first selection of her career. Another first team All-CCS honoree, Stephens has hit at a .427 clip, recording 29 runs with 56 hits, 46 RBI's, and 11 stolen bases. She leads the Hawks in hits and is tied for first in doubles.

All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 27 on NFCA.org and the Association's social media accounts.

The Hawks are return to regional action today, May 15th, against Penn State Behrend in a win or go home contest. First pitch is set for 1:30 PM CT.
