Huntingdon basketball prepares for season with upcoming scrimmages

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's and women's basketball teams will tune up for the upcoming season with a series of scrimmages during the next week.

The men host Southern Union in a scrimmage on Friday at 4 p.m. and will play at Alabama State in an exhibition game on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Hawks officially open the season on Nov. 16 in the Birmingham-Southern Classic. The Hawks will play Emory at 6 p.m.

The Lady Hawks will host two scrimmages. Huntingdon plays Chattahoochee Valley Community College at Roland Arena on Sunday at 2 p.m. and will host Faulkner State on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The Lady Hawks open the season on Nov. 16 in the Zaxby's Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament at Mississippi College. Huntingdon plays the Choctaws at 5:30 p.m.
