Chapman Brings Home Offensive Rookie of the Week Honors

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The USA South Athletic Conference has unveiled their weekly Football awards following Week 5 of the regular season. 

A graduate of Buckhorn High School and native of Huntsville, Alabama, Huntingdon's Deven Chapman was recognized as the league's Offensive Rookie of the Week. 

The wide receiver caught four passes for 68 yards and one touchdown in a 26-0 win over USA South foe Methodist last week. His touchdown catch came in the second quarter and covered 46 yards.

Chapman and the Hawks travel to Greensboro College this Saturday for another conference contest. Gametime is set for 12:00 PM CT.
