    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon head men's basketball coach Mike Pugh announced on Monday that the 2016-17 season will be his final season. The 65-year-old Pugh recently completed his ninth season with the Hawks and his 40th season overall.

    This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the fifth-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. Tied 68-68 with 42 seconds to play, Berry scored on a layup to put Huntingdon in front for good. Ashley sank a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left and hit 1-of-2 free throws with two seconds left to seal the win.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Freshman Brandon McLean was named a USA South Athlete of the Week on Monday. McLean, a 6-foot-7 center from Ellenwood, Ga., was named Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for his performances against Birmingham-Southern and Berry College this past week.
