FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – More than 150 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Thursday.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon junior Anthony Spivey and senior Jordan Freeman were each recognized as All-Region performers on Wednesday with the release of the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams.
Gonzalez named Rookie Pitcher of the Year, 5 Hawks earn All-Conference

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Freshman Jared Gonzalez was named USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Year and a total of five Huntingdon players earned All-Conference honors with the release of the All-Conference baseball team on Thursday. Senior third baseman Jordan Freeman and junior outfielder Anthony Spivey were named first-team All-Conference and junior outfielders Patrick Kucera and Alec Raley were named second-team All-Conference.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon designated hitter Anthony Spivey was recognized this week by D3baseball.com for his performance in Saturday's 5-4 and 12-5 sweep of Covenant. Spivey was one of 13 players recognized on D3baseball.com's national Team of the Week.

Spivey was named Baseball Player of the Week for his performance in a doubleheader sweep of Covenant on Saturday. The Hawks won the first game 5-4 and won the second game 12-5.

FERRUM, Va. – The Huntingdon baseball team picked up two key conference victories in a doubleheader at Ferrum College on Saturday. The Hawks (20-15, 18-8 USA South) held Ferrum (20-14, 14-12 USA South) to six hits in a 1-0 win in Game 1 and scored six runs in the top of the ninth to win the second game 16-12.
