Emily Barber was named the head women's soccer coach in December 2014.

She returned to the Huntingdon staff as an assistant women's soccer coach in the summer of 2013. Barber previously held the assistant's position during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Before returning to Huntingdon, Barber served as the head girls soccer coach at Montgomery Academy for four seasons. A three-time All-Metro Coach of the Year, Barber led MA to an 82-9-3 record, two Class 1A-4A state titles and one state runner-up finish.

In addition to coaching at Huntingdon and MA, Barber has also coached with the Capital City Streaks, BUSA and FC Torjager.

Before entering the coaching ranks, Barber played collegiately at Division I Georgia Southern and NAIA Auburn University Montgomery. Barber was a two-year player at Georgia Southern before transferring to AUM, where she was a team captain, scholar athlete and member of the Dean’s List.

Barber graduated from AUM with a B.S. in Psychology.
