Hawks Soar Past Andrew On Senior Day
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Looking to continue their success from the Yellow Jacket Open just four days ago, Huntingdon Women's Wrestling put on an exemplary performance inside Wilson Gym in their 41-5 dual victory over the Andrew College Fighting Tigers on Senior Day.
Prior to the start of tonight's matches, Huntingdon recognized the program's lone senior for their commitments to the program, both on and off the mat, throughout their time as a Hawk. This year's senior is none other than Emma Stephenson of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Guided by early success from Jordan Epstein, Chloe Parets, and Shelby Fugate, the Hawks stormed out to an early 12-4 lead. The junior duo of Caden Collett and Tristin Robinson followed up with wins of their own to ice things away, cementing Huntingdon's resounding victory.
