10 Hawks Receive Academic All-American Honors As Women's Wrestling Receives NWCA Recognition
MANHEIM, PA.- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced their 2025 NCAA Women's Team and Individual Scholar All-America Awards for the 2024-2025 season.
Huntingdon's Women's Wrestling program finished with a team GPA of 3.699, good enough for 2nd in the region, 5th in Division III, and 9th overall in the NCAA, all in their second year as a program.
In recognition of the Hawks dedication inside the classroom, 10 members of the team have been recognized as Academic All-Americans. In order to be eligible for this title, individuals must either have placed top 8 at the national tournament with a minimum GPA of 3.0, competed in a minimum of 15 matches that are recorded in TRACKWRESTLING and has at least a 3.5 Cumulative GPA, or finish the season as a national qualifier with a 3.25 GPA. Huntingdon's 10 recognized athletes were:
