Hawks Volleyball Releases 2026 Season Slate
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Off the heels of a 2025 season that saw the Hawks finish with a 17-18 record before falling in the CCS Quarterfinals, Huntingdon Volleyball has released their 2026 season slate.
Huntingdon opens the season in Atlana, Georgia on September 4th and 5th in a tournament hosted by Emory University. The Hawks open play on the 4th against Oglethorpe University before kicking off the a double-header on the 5th against the Falcons of Pfeiffer University. They close the double-header against the host, Emory, at 3:00 PM CT to round out the opening weekend of play. The Hawks follow up with another road tournament on the 12th, as they head to Jackson, Mississippi to take on Letourneau and Millsaps in the annual Invitational hosted by the Majors. Standalone road matches on the 13th against MUW and on the 18th against CCS rival Covenant make way for Huntingdon's home-opener on the 20th against Rhodes College at 12:00.
Following their one-match home stand against Rhodes, the Hawks hit the road again, this time traveling to face off with the Belhaven University Blazers on the 22nd in a conference match. Last season, Huntingdon and Belhaven split their pair of matches, as the Hawks took a 3-0 victory in their first meeting before falling 3-1 later in the season. On September 25th, the Hawks return to Roland Arena for another CCS showdown against the Lions of Piedmont University, before traveling to face LaGrange on the 30th.
The month of October gets started at home on the 2nd as Huntingdon welcomes the defending CCS Champions, Asbury University, to Montgomery before the Hawks turn around on the third and host Covenant in their second match in as many days. Huntingdon hosts their lone tri-match of the season on October 10th, the College's Homecoming, against Bob Jones and Belhaven, before their home stretch comes to a close on the 13th against MUW. The Hawks hit the road for a pair of conference matches on the 16th and 17th at Agnes Scott and Piedmont.
The Hawks final two home matches of the regular season come on the 21st and 24th against LaGrange and Agnes Scott, respectively, before closing out the regular season with 5 consecutive road matches. Heading to the Bluegrass state for three straight, Huntingdon is set to take on Centre on the 29th in Danville, Transylvania on the 30th, and Asbury on the 31st to close out the month. The Hawks final two contests come on November 6th and 7th, as Huntingdon faces off with Oglethorpe and Berry prior to the beginning of the CCS Conference Tournament.
The 2026 CCS Conference tournament is set to begin on November 12th, with the championship coming on the 14th.
