Shaylinn McFarland Receives CCS Offensive Player Of The Week Honors

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has announced that freshman Huntingdon forward Shaylinn McFarland has been named the conference's offensive player of the week.

McFarland made an immediate impact in her collegiate debut, scoring two goals and adding an assist to lead Huntingdon to a 2-0 start to the season. Her contributions were instrumental in the team's victories over Millsaps and MUW.

McFarland and the Hawks look to continue their early success on Friday, September 6th, in a matchup with Meredith College. Gametime is scheduled for 5:00 PM CT.
