Four Hawks Place As Men's Wrestling Takes Ninth At NCAA Region VI Championships

DUBUQUE, Iowa- Rounding out the second and final day of the NCAA Region VI Championships at the Five Flags Center this afternoon, Huntingdon's Cole Blalock, Damion Jones, Kevin Shaw III, and Steven Flagg all concluded as regional placers in their respective weight classes today en route to the Hawks 52 points and 9th place team finish in a field of 18 teams. 

Shaw III led all of the Huntingdon placers with a sixth place finish in the 197 lb weight class, Blalock finished 7th in the 125 lb class with Jones and Flagg each taking eighth in the 157 and 285 classes, respectively. Boasting four placers this season, the Hawks have tied their program record from a year ago with the most finishing inside the top 8 in a single season.
