Flagg Claims Victory At The Hawk Classic Open

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Looking to build off of their 3-2 record yesterday at the Hawk Duals, Huntingdon Men's Wrestling saw six Hawks place, including one champion and one runner-up, en route to a third place team finish at today's Hawk Classic Open at the Garrett Coliseum.

Senior Steven Flagg of Salem, Alabama proclaimed victory in the 285 weight class today to lead the Hawks efforts on the day. Flagg defeated five opponents today to round out his perfect 8-0 record on the weekend. Joining him with a top-two finish was Kevin Shaw in the 197 weight class. Native to Clarksville Tennessee, Shaw finished the day with a 3-1 record to score 17 points. Jacob Clark, Brock Johnson, Andrew Yeats, and Damion Jones rounded out the placers for Huntingdon to cap off their success on the day. See below for the comprehensive match-by-match results.
