Clark And Parets Sweep SLIAC Weekly Wrestling Awards

ST. LOUIS, Mo.- Each piecing together exemplary performances in Huntingdon's home dual against Andrew College, Jacob Clark and Chloe Parets have swept the SLIAC Weekly Wrestling awards, as announced by the conference office on Monday. 

Clark, a junior from Beauregard, Alabama, won his lone match in the Hawks loss on Thursday, defeating his opponent in the 184 weight class via major decision, 14-1. As for Parets, the Miami, Florida native finished the week with a 2-0 record, winning via decision 4-1 in her first match before following up with a 3:45 fall victory in her extra match, providing a major contribution to the women's 41-5 victory over Andrew. 

Hawks Wrestling closes out the 2025 calendar year this weekend at the Gator "Boots" Duals in Nashville Tennessee. The men are set to take the mat on Saturday, December 20th with the women competing a day prior on the 19th.
