BREVARD, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team closed the season with a 64-56 loss to Brevard on Saturday.
The Hawks jumped out to a 10-0 lead and led for much of the game. But Brevard took the lead for good with 4:09 to play and closed the game with a 16-6 run.
Alina Shoemake had 15 points and six assists for the Hawks and Destiny Cross had 14 points. Wyatt Bak added 11 points and Ry Whetstone had a team-high six rebounds.
