Cross Country Concludes At The Collegiate Conference Of The South Championships

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- Bringing their 2025 season to a close this morning, Huntingdon Cross Country put together a solid showing at the Collegiate Conference of the South Championships hosted by the Huntsville Sports Commission at John Hunt Park.

The Men's team, led by Hayes Brockett and his 54th place finish, scored 191 points to finish 7th overall, just 11 points behind 6th placed LaGrange. Brockett's time of 34:15 served as a course PR with Levi Garrett, Jameson Jessup, Johnny Quarles, Dylan Horton, and Jaylan Roberts rounding out the scoring.

As for the women, Michaela Moore wrapped up her exceptional 2025 season with a 15th place finish- just one spot outside that of all-conference recognition, to guide the Hawks to 146 points and a 6th place finish. Her time of 26:07 set the pace for Huntingdon with Evie Garrett trailing in closely behind with a 29th place finish, before Hadyn Owens, Adrianna Morning, Sydney Thompson, and Arianna Morning wrapped things up.

In recognition of the sportsmanship throughout the year as they provided key leadership to the program's plethora of young student athletes, Levi Garrett and Sydney Thompson were each recognized as members of the conference All-Sportsmanship team.

Today's meet has brought the Hawks 2025 campaign to an end. Stay tuned for news to come of the Hawks 2026 season.
