Hawks beat Tougaloo in season opener

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team opened the season with a 9-0 win over Tougaloo on Saturday.

In singles, Trevor Berry (No. 1), Kevaughnte Merrion (No. 2), Domenic Terrell (No. 3) and Charlie Jones (No. 4) each won in straight sets. Clint Robinson (No. 5) and Anjala Chandrasoma (No. 6) both won by default.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Mark Melchor-Carson Sands and the No. 2 team of Robinson-Chandrasoma each won 8-0. The No. 3 team Berry-Merrion won by default.
