MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Hosting The University of the South for their final non-conference match of the 2025 regular season, Huntingdon Men's Soccer couldn't get things going, falling 5-0 to the Tigers.
How it happened
Sewanee, now 10-2-3 on the season, came out of the gates swinging offensively, firing off 11 first half shots to just three for Huntingdon- cashing in on two of their tries to take a lead into the halftime break. The Hawks tried to battle back from the deficit in the second half, getting good looks at the goal from Dashun McDonald and Josh Diaz, but ultimately couldn't get things going, surrendering 3 second half goals in a 5-0 loss.
In the goal
#34 Trent Wineberg fell to 1-8-3 on the season, allowing five goals while recording 9 saves.
