MOUNT BERRY, Ga.- Ending their three game road trip with a stop in Georgia, Huntingdon Men's Soccer fell to 1-5-2 tonight with a 3-0 loss to the 6-1-3 Vikings of Berry College.
The Vikings first goal came early, as Berry hit the mark at the 6:34 mark to take an early 1-0 lead. Through the rest of the half, Huntingdon saw their chances at the goal, firing off four of their five shots for the game in the opening 45 minutes, but the Hawks couldn't find their way past the Berry keeper. With less than two minutes remaining in the half, the Vikings scored again to push their advantage to 2-0 at the break.
The second half saw more of the same, with Huntingdon just getting one attempt of the goal compared to Berry's 10. To ice the game way, the Vikings found their way past Trent Wineberg at the 84 minute mark, handing Huntingdon the 3-0 loss.
The Hawks look to bounce back on Saturday, September 27th at home against Asbury as they open conference play. Gametime is set for 2:00 PM CT.
