Remembering Jack Murray

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- On the evening of June 8th, 2026, the Huntingdon Community learned of the tragic passing of Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach, Jack Murray. 

Jack was found on the 8th after a 48 hour search for him following a storm-related accident on a Pennsylvania lake. He had been our assistant coach for a year, and despite having played for our USA South Athletic Conference rival Methodist University, Jack fully committed his heart and energy over the last year to the Huntingdon men's lacrosse team.  He was exceedingly well-liked by our players and he carried the respect and appreciation of our Head Coach Andrew Carey and everyone who worked alongside him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack's family, our Men's Lacrosse players and staff, and all of those who were blessed to know him.
