Cole Humphrey Named CCS Golfer Of The Week And Alabama Power Huntingdon Student Athlete Of The Week
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Following an exceptional showing at the 2025 Tartan Invitational that resulted in a second-place individual finish and an overall team victory, Cole Humphrey has been recognized as the Golfer of the Week in the Collegiate Conference of the South, as well as the Alabama Power Huntingdon Student Athlete of the Week.
A junior from Roswell, Georgia, Humphrey posted rounds of 74 (+2), 73 (+1), and 71 (–1) for a three-round total of 218 (+2) at the Laurel Valley Golf Course. His consistent play helped lead the No. 6-ranked Hawks to a team championship, as Huntingdon outpaced 10 nationally ranked opponents, including six ranked inside the Top 10.
All season long, Humphrey has been a solid contributor to the Hawks success on the course. Placing inside the top-20 in two of Huntingdon's three competitions this semester. This comes off the heels of a 2024-2025 season that saw Cole finish as the 37th ranked Golfer in the Region and 76th in the nation.
Humphrey and the Hawks close out the Fall 2025 semester with the OBJ Memorial Tournament set to take place on October 27th and 28th in Greensboro, North Carolina.
