Burr Brings Home CCS Golfer Of The Week Honors, Climbs To #2 Ranked Golfer In The Nation

ATLANTA, Ga.-  The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its men's golf weekly honors, released by the league office on Wednesday.

Huntingdon's Jack Burr has been recognized as the conference's Golfer of the Week for the third time this Spring.

Burr continued his impressive spring season with a pair of under-par rounds at the Capitol City Invitational. Burr carded back-to-back rounds of 70 (-2), finishing at 4-under-par for the tournament. His consistent performance earned him a tie for fifth place in a competitive field of 90 golfers.

Jack's performances as of late have also garnered national attention, as per the latest Clippd rankings, he is the #2 golfer in all of NCAA Division III. Finishing inside the top three two times in the Hawks four events, Burr holds a scoring average of 68.8 through 10 holes of competition. 

Burr and the #8 ranked Hawks return to the course on April 19th, traveling to New York for the FCS Spring Invitational.
