Tyler Mallory Brings Home CCS Player Of The Week Award

ATLANTA, Ga.- Following a dominant four-game stretch where he led the Hawks to a 2-2 record, Huntingdon's Tyler Mallory has been recognized as the Collegiate Conference of the South's Men's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. 

The junior guard totaled 94 points, averaging 23.5 points per game, while adding 15 rebounds, 21 assists, and 15 steals to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Mallory played a key role in Huntingdon's victories over Covenant and Ozarks, consistently setting the tempo offensively. He also turned in his top scoring performance of the week against No. 25 Maryville, pouring in a game-high 35 points in the matchup.

Mallory and the Hawks return to action on January 10th as they travel to face Piedmont. Tip-off is set for 3:00 PM CT.
