Sam Kelley Dubbed CCS Baseball Player Of The Week
ATLANTA, Ga.- Following Huntingdon's perfect 4-0 stretch a week ago, Sam Kelley has been recognized as the Collegiate Conference of the South's Baseball Player of the Week for week 2.
Kelley, a junior from Brewer, Alabama, collected 10 hits while batting .476, driving in eight runs and scoring eight times during Huntingdon's four-game stretch. He tallied two doubles, two triples, and a home run during the week, while also adding a stolen base. His consistent production has helped fuel a Hawks lineup that is currently averaging 13 runs per game.
Kelley and the Hawks will return to Neal Posey Field on February 21st as they kick off week three of the Firehouse Classic against Spalding University. First pitch is set for 12:00 PM CT.
