Parker Szush Tabbed CCS Pitcher Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga.- The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.

For the first time this season, Huntingdon's Parker Szush has been recognized as the conference's pitcher of the week.

Szush delivered a dominant performance on the mound, throwing a complete-game shutout in Huntingdon's 11-0 win over Millsaps. The junior right-hander allowed just one hit over seven innings while striking out 12 of the 28 batters he faced. His outing secured his first win of the season and helped the Hawks improve to 11-5.

Szush and the Hawks enter CCS play this weekend on the road, traveling to face Covenant College. The series kicks off on March 14th at 3:00 PM CT.
