Morgan Tabbed CCS Player Of The Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has announced their weekly awards for the opening week of action in baseball.

Huntingdon shortstop Cade Morgan was tabbed the conference's player of the week. Morgan had a standout week at the plate, batting .500 (13-for-26) while driving in three runs and scoring six across six games. Morgan's consistency helped lead Huntingdon to a 3-3 record, including a series sweep over Mississippi University for Women.

Morgan and the Hawks look to keep rolling, taking on Wheaton to kick off their first home tournament of the season. Gametime is set for February 22nd at 12:00 PM CT.
