Huntingdon falls in USA South Tournament quarterfinals

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon volleyball team advanced to the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals before losing to Covenant on Tuesday night.

The Hawks advanced to the quarterfinals with a four-set victory over LaGrange, winning 18-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.  The win over LaGrange ensured the Hawks' first winning season since 2009. Huntingdon's 19 wins this season are the most in at least a decade.

Against Covenant, the No. 1 seed in the West Division, the Hawks fell 25-17, 25-17, 25-21. The Scots enter the conference semifinals with a 14-match winning streak.
