    CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Huntingdon golfer Vanessa Leiterman was recently announced as an All-American Scholar by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. This is the second straight year Leiterman has been recognized as an All-American Scholar.

The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

    BESSEMER, Ala. – Senior Vanessa Leiterman is in first and the 21st-ranked Huntingdon women’s golf team is two strokes out of first after the opening round of the BSC Southern Shootout on Monday. Leiterman shot a season-best 1-over-par 73 and leads the field by one stroke. In a 10-team field that includes seven nationally ranked teams, Huntingdon shot 316 and is in third entering Tuesday’s final round.

Entering Sunday’s final round, the Lady Hawks are tied for seventh at 642. Eighth-ranked New York University leads the 21-team tournament with a 30-over-par 606 and 15th-ranked Carnegie Mellon is second at 609.

    PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon women’s golf team shot 327 on Saturday and tied for fifth in the rain-shortened Callaway Gardens Invitational. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played on Friday and Saturday. Due to the weather, Saturday was the only round completed.

    SANDESTIN, Fla. – Senior Katelyn Gilmore turned in her best collegiate round on Tuesday to close out the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational. Gilmore shot a 2-under-par 70 at Baytowne Golf Club in the final round to finish four strokes out of first. Gilmore shot a three-round 227 to finish fifth.

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior Katelyn Gilmore shot an even-par 72 to lead the Huntingdon women’s golf team in the final round of the Montgomery Country Club Women’s Intercollegiate on Sunday. Gilmore finished fifth with a 5-over-par 149 in the two-round tournament.

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women’s golf team shot 315 in the opening round of the Montgomery Country Club Women’s Intercollegiate on Saturday. Entering Sunday’s final round, the Lady Hawks are tied for fifth in the eight-team field. Rhodes College leads the tournament with a 10-over-par 298 and Berry College is second at 304.
