    LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team won its fourth straight game and picked up its sixth win in seven games this season with a 75-58 win over Covenant College on Saturday. The win was the fifth in the last six meetings with the Scots and helped Huntingdon improve to 2-0 in the USA South Athletic Conference.
  • Lady Hawks snap streak, beat Maryville for first time since 2008

    MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team won its conference opener with an 82-65 win over Maryville on Friday. Behind a combined 67 points from T.I. Duncan, Alex Lowery, Hannah Parks and Shaonica Thomas, the Lady Hawks (5-1, 1-0 USA South) snapped a 20-game losing streak against the Scots. The win was Huntingdon’s second against Maryville in 30 meetings during the NCAA era and the first win since Feb. 2008.

    PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team finished strong to open the season with a 64-56 win over previously unbeaten Florida College on Friday. Huntingdon (1-0) outscored Florida College 21-11 in the fourth quarter and handed the Falcons (4-1) their first loss of the season.  
  • Huntingdon’s Phillips announces retirement

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College women’s basketball coach Buzz Phillips officially announced his retirement from collegiate coaching on Thursday. Phillips, who is on medical leave, will retire from Huntingdon at the end of the school year.
