DEMOREST, Ga. – Senior Juliette Harp set another career mark for the Huntingdon women's basketball team in a 64-59 loss to Piedmont on Saturday.
Harp pulled down 13 rebounds in the loss to record her 869th career rebound in 80 games. Tan Munford held the Lady Hawks' previous NCAA-era record with 868 in 104 games. Harp's career 10.9 rebounds per game ranks first for Huntingdon during the NCAA era.
In addition to her 13 rebounds on Saturday, Harp also had 11 points and three blocks to record her 13th double-double of the season. Harp leads Division III in double-doubles this season.
Huntingdon played from behind for almost the entire game, trailing 19-8 after one quarter, 37-25 at halftime and 44-26 early in the third quarter. But the Lady Hawks used a 20-4 run to rally and cut Piedmont's lead to two points, 48-46, with 8:08 to play in the game.
Huntingdon remained within eight points the remainder of the game and only trailed by three points, 60-57, with 20 seconds left. Piedmont hit four free throws in the final 17 seconds to seal the game.

Quick Facts: In addition to leading Division III in double-doubles this season, Harp ranks in the top-20 nationally in four other categories. Harp is fourth in Division III with 207 rebounds, 10th in field goals made (97), 13th in blocked shots (35) and 19th in total points (244) … Huntingdon held Piedmont to 64 points on Saturday, the second lowest scoring total for the Lions this season.
