B-Team Hawks tied for 4th entering final round of Chick-fil-A Invitational

ROME, Ga. – The Huntingdon B-Team shot 11-over-par 299 in the first round of the Chick-fil-A Invitational at Stonebridge Golf Club on Monday.

The B-Team Hawks are tied for fourth entering Tuesday's final round. Central Alabama Community College leads the 19-team field with a 2-under 286. Berry College is second with a 3-over 291 and the Emory B-Team is third with a 10-over 298.

Freshman Walker Hinds led the B-Team with an even-par 72 and is tied for seventh. Central Alabama Community College's Noah Dennis shot Monday's best round and is in first with a 5-under 67.

Two shots behind Hinds, Huntingdon freshman Cam Page shot a 2-over 74 and is tied for 19th. Sophomore Ben Harris shot a 4-over 76 and is tied for 34th and freshman Cody Argade is tied for 47th with a 5-over 77.

Playing as individuals, junior Alex Aulerich shot an 83 and senior Sterling Dixon shot a 90.

 

Coming Up: The Huntingdon B-Team will play in the final round of the Chick-fil-A Invitational on Tuesday.
