    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Seven Huntingdon student-athletes were among those honored with the release of the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s All-American Athlete of the Year awards.
  • Four Hawks recognized on Ping All-America teams

    NORMAN, Okla. – Four Huntingdon golfers were recognized with the release of the Golf Coaches Association of America's finalized Division III Ping All-America teams on Wednesday. Senior Addison Lambeth was announced as a first-team All-America selection in May. On Wednesday, senior Will Thrash and sophomore Stephen Shephard each earned second-team All-America honors and senior Chad Ring was named an honorable mention selection.
  • 196 Hawks named to USA South Academic All-Conference Team

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Nearly 200 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 196 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 16 athletic programs, were among the 1,684 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

    HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot a 12-over-par 300 in the final round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on Friday. The Hawks finished with a four-round total of 1190 and tied for fourth in the 18-team field at Mission Inn Resort & Club.

    HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The top-ranked Huntingdon men's golf team leads the field after the opening round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday. The Hawks shot 5-over-par 293 and lead the 42-team tournament by three strokes. Entering Wednesday's second round, second-ranked University of Texas-Tyler, eighth-ranked Rhodes College and sixth-ranked LaGrange College are tied for second at 8-over 296. Huntingdon senior Addison Lambeth, the top-ranked golfer in Division III, turned in Tuesday's best round with a 3-under 69.

    NORMAN, Okla. – Huntingdon Director of Golf Dave Schreyer is one of five finalists for Division III Coach of the Year. The finalists for the Dave Williams Award were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday. The Williams Award and Regional Coach of the Year recipients will be announced on June 5.

  • NCAA announces field for Division III Men’s Golf Championships

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The top-ranked Huntingdon men’s golf team will be one of 42 teams competing in the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships on May 16-19 at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The NCAA selection committee announced the field on Monday.

    STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Senior Addison Lambeth turned in Huntingdon's best round of the NCAA era to lead the Hawks in the final round of the Emory Spring Invitational. Lambeth fired a 6-under-par 64 on Sunday and finished with a two-round total of 6-under 134 to win his second straight tournament. The top-ranked Hawks shot 2-under 278 in the final round and 7-over 567 for the tournament to win. The 15-team field included seven of the top-10 teams in Division III.

    This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the sixth-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College's participation in Division III Week, five student-athletes will be featured this week. Huntingdon senior Will Thrash is today's featured student-athlete.

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior Addison Lambeth and the top-ranked Huntingdon men's golf team closed out the Wynlakes Intercollegiate on Tuesday with their first wins of the spring. Lambeth shot 5-under-par 67 in each round and won the tournament with a 10-under 134. As a team, the Hawks shot 1-under 287 in the final round and finished the 36-hole tournament with a 9-under 567.

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon varsity and B-Team men's golf teams each turned in under-par rounds and are first and second after the opening day of the Wynlakes Intercollegiate. Entering Tuesday's final round at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, the No. 1 ranked varsity Hawks lead the 15-team field with an 8-under-par 280 and the B-Team is second at 1-under 287. Carnegie Mellon is third at 3-over 291.

    PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The top-ranked Huntingdon men's golf team opened the spring season with an 8-over-par 296 in the first round of the Callaway Gardens Invitational. The Hawks lead the 18-team field that includes 11 other Top-25 Division III teams. Emory (No. 13) is second at 297 and 11th-ranked LaGrange is third at 299. Eight strokes separate the top-10 teams.
